Not Your Regular Sunday Setlist

If you expected this to feel like our typical Sunday morning setlist, you would have been pleasantly surprised. While our Sunday worship is always a gift, this night invited us into a deeper kind of worship that could only have been led by a Spirit-filled team and CFC’s choir, sporting their snazzy #CHOIR shirts.

 

In keeping with tradition, and between medleys, Youth Pastors Mike Haynes and Brooke Jones prayed over our students as they prepared to begin another school year. We also had the privilege of worshiping one more time with Lee and Carla Towns during their final worship night at CFC. Jon and Brooke Ackerman then guided us in prayer, inviting us into deeper surrender as we gathered at the altar.

 

The worship team also had a surprise in store, introducing two original songs written by members of the team. One of which is already being played on the radio!

 

The Holy Spirit’s presence was unmistakable throughout the evening. Together, we lifted many a joyful noise unto the Lord, and it was a beautiful reminder that worship is about far more than the songs we sing. It’s about hearts fully surrendered to Him.
